Susan Engeleiter is CEO of Data Recognition Corp. and its three major divisions. Under her leadership, the company has achieved record levels of growth and profitability. Ms. Engeleiter previously served as vice president of government markets at Honeywell Inc. from 1992 to 1998, where she started a business unit that grew to approximately $200 million in revenue.
In 1988, she was appointed by President George H.W. Bush to lead the U.S. Small Business Administration. Ms. Engeleiter served as a Wisconsin state senator from 1984 to 1988, and served as the Senate minority leader during these years. She also belongs to numerous professional and non-profit organizations, and has received many service awards. She holds a juris doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School, and a Bachelor of Science degree in English and communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
